Superhero circle 7

Despite my pessimism at the end of the previous post, we're back with another one. Nothing else happened in between, clearly, but that doesn't matter - more posts just means more to read, and who wants that?

If you don't know what this is, the original is here, and the rest are listed here.

Adhesive Thirteen: Brings unlucky criminals to a sticky end.

beaten by

Teflon Clover: Wreaking havoc with its four razor sharp leaves.

beaten by

Blarney Stone: Defeats clover with its Irish bluntness.

beaten by

Talkative Chain Gang: "Smashing the Blarney Stone, here, boss!".

beaten by

Wire-cutters of silence: Freeing the prisoners in return for a promise of quiet...

beaten by

Adamantium Banshee: It's always quietest before the SCREAM.

beaten by

Silent Film: Both better and less aurally traumatic than Scream.

beaten by

13-year-old boy: If it hasn't got three explosions in the first five minutes, he's not interested.

beaten by

15-year-old girl gang: Lank, spotty and underdeveloped, but still capable of destroying self esteem well into middle age.

beaten by

The Gossip-Monger: Splitting up groups of girls within minutes of their formation.

beaten by

Misinformation Devil: Causes his enemies to discredit themselves in soul destroying

beaten by

The Internet: With this much data, specific misinformation just fades into the background.

Not the greatest we've ever done, but a good one in a pinch, and nice to break a week or so without a post. Should have some more stuff coming over the next week or so hopefully, so fingers crossed you weren't enjoying the silence too much.

Superhero Circle 6

As promised, one week on, another Superest-style doodle collection. Original is here, and the rest are listed here.

The Russian Army: Big or small, guilty or innocent, right or wrong, doesn't matter. It'll fuck you up...

beaten by

The Scales of Justice: Lets you know when you're bang out of line.

beaten by

Unbalanced Fishwife: Built like a weightlifter and carrying a de-scaler.

beaten by

Misogynistic Icthyosaur: Puts women in their place, so it can never be caught and scaled.

beaten by

Feminist Comet: If you can't stop them objectifying you, wipe them from the face of the earth.

beaten by

McCririck-zilla: Comets and women's rights bounce right off his scaly, sexist hide.

beaten by

200ft Germaine Greer: Disapproves of phallic skyscrapers.

beaten by

Military tAtu: High-powered weapons, highly-charged lesbian sexuality.

Not sure there'll be another one for a while, but we'll see.

Superhero Circle 5

Yep, it's back. In case you have no idea what's going on, the original is here, and the rest are listed here.

"Mad" Marie Curie: Irritated, irradiated, and in your house...

beaten by

Lead Zeppelin: Heavily armed. Heavily protected against radiation. Heavy.

beaten by

Oh! The Huge Manatee: Lures in giant sailors. Also destroys airships.

beaten by

Bad-time Boss: No fun, especially hates internet memes.

beaten by

The Office Joker: Wants to ask his boss "Why so serious?". (And also give in his quarterly report).

beaten by

Lots of sleeping pills: Making sure the Joker doesn't make it to the sequel.

beaten by

The stomach pump of TOO SOON: We're all very disappointed in you.

beaten by

The Tumour of Humour: Lightening the mood - blocking the stomach pump, one joke at a time.

Hope you enjoyed those, hopefully we'll have another high-quality set of images next week too.

Superhero Circle 5 (including anti-superest)

A double helping of delicious Superest-style goodness to be had today. Firstly a short-but-sweet vaguely-Easter-themed non-circular traditional-style superest:

Cardinal Sin: Not leading you not into temptation.

beaten by

Grammar Jesus: Died for your sins and abhors double negatives.

beaten by

Pontius Pirate: Dispatches the son of God with the twang of the seven seas.

beaten by

The FBI: Because piracy funds terrorism, and 'Pontius' is an awfully foreign-sounding name...

And secondly, a new flavour: the mentally-distressing concoction that is 'anti-Superest'. Inspired by those people who seemed unable to get the hang of drawing something connected to the previous entity, the object is instead to draw something unconnected to the previous drawing. Preferably with a suitably non-sequitur-ish caption:

Robo-Gilby: "Beep-Blip-Communism".

beaten by

The Cat: Say it ain't so Joe, say it ain't so.

beaten by

Viscount Beanington: "Oh Lordy".

beaten by

The Window of Opportunity: "Count me in, Watson".

beaten by

Why dogs cannot play American football:
1) They cannot close their visors
2)They cannot hold the ball
3) Contrary to the diagram, they cannot stand on their hind legs for any length of time.

beaten by

Luxembourg: It's haunted, they say.

Ignore that last one if bizarre, unconnected and decidedly silly things do not interest or amuse you.

Superhero Circle 4

You should be able to zoom in on those to read them, but (for completeness, and because of our increasingly dodgy handwriting...):

The Valentines Vampire: Steals your heart, then sucks it dry.

beaten by

Pierre, the amorous garlic salesman: Lures you in with love and vampiric-protection promises.

beaten by

Dave Buzzkill: Romance wilts and dies in his presence.

beaten by

The Spring Breaker: Parties hard and takes all in his way with him.

beaten by

The Examinatrix: "Fuck you, students".

beaten by

The Cheat-ah: Gives out the answers; too quick for the invigilator to catch.

beaten by

The Tell-Tale Poacher: Takes you down from 1000 yards, and then tells teacher on you.

beaten by

Bullet-proof Monkey: Your protective primate.

beaten by

Pharmaceutical Phil: They stopped him testing on humans, but no one said anything about monkeys.

beaten by

The I.R.S.P.C.A: Irish Republican's Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

beaten by

Orangeman: Fiercely independent against the incursions of apples, bananas and Catholics.

beaten by

Orange-AIDS: Need I say more?.

which, I guess could possibly beat the Valentine's Vampire. Doesn't really work, but there's some good stuff in the middle there, so we'll let this one slide.

Superhero circle 3

We did a couple of these since the last one I posted, but they weren't particularly good. This one isn't brilliant, but there are a couple of nice touches in there:

You should be able to zoom in on those to read them, but (for completeness, and because of our increasingly dodgy handwriting...):

The Waffler: Bores you to death with his sweet, sweet tongue.

beaten by

Seditious Sauce: Smothers you in chocolatey sauce.

beaten by

Greedy Girl: Eats you.

beaten by

Ano-Rex-ia: Inside every fat girl is a thin dinosaur trying to get out.

beaten by

Bulimia Bill: The fastest vomiter in the west.

beaten by

Sandals of self-esteem: Defeat all anxiety.

beaten by

Crocs of Criticism: Cheaper than regular sandals and with biting criticism.

beaten by

Bigfoot: Legendary shoe-crusher.

beaten by

The Book of Fact: A crushing tome of reality.

beaten by

Chris Tian: Never lets the facts get in the way of a good story.

beaten by

Muse-lim: Apocalypse Please.

beaten by

Allah-Kazam: A magician more powerful than David Copperfield, and God.

beaten by

Cosmic Cleaner: Irons out paradoxes and sews up tears in the continuum.

beaten by

St. Ardust: Dirtying the heavens by cleansing the soul.

beaten by

The Canon of silent content.

which, with more than a little stretch, could conceivably beat The Waffler.

Superhero Circle 2 (Electric Boogaloo)

As a follow-up to the previous superest-style post a week or so ago, I present this week's special double-page edition (again, with translation):

The Sleeping Policeman: Letting crime come to him.

beaten by

The razor-wheeled cow of crime: "Moo-ve or get slashed".

beaten by

The Concrete Abbateur: Has a heart (and everything else) of stone.

beaten by

The Vegetarian Wrecking Ball: "You meat-eatin' bastards gonna pay!"

beaten by

The Rabboteur: "Eh, blown-up, doc".

beaten by

The ferocious, fiery, fear-frenzied, frumpy, fox-in-a-box

beaten by

Foxhunter Seuss: I will defeat you sam-I-am.

beaten by

Raging Rowling: Destroying children's literature of the past with tales of boyhood satanism.

beaten by

Warm-front Will: Bringing calm (and hugs).

beaten by

The secretly satanic huggy bear.

beaten by

Angelic Starsky and Hutch: Answering your prayers from the 70s.

beaten by

The Eighties Atheist: Cancelling out the values of the seventies through stocks and shares.

beaten by

Incorrect-racist-Robinson-Crusoe (with Black Wednesday).

beaten by

P.C Revisionist: Correcting those bits of literature that never really existed.

beaten by

Tippex Tex: Blottin' out whatever he feels like, Goldarnit!.

beaten by

Inca (Inker): Writes things in your entrails.

beaten by

Gutless Conquistador: Makes up what he lacks in courage with a hatred of indigenous peoples.

beaten by

Dutch Courage: Making even the most cowardly people as brave as Holland.

beaten by

Tea Totaller: -12e^(i*pi) steps to sobriety.

beaten by

Evil Stephen Hawking: No mathematical problem can defeat him, unless it's upstairs.

who, with beautiful symmetry, could be beaten by The Sleeping Policeman.

Superhero circle.

Ok, last post for today, I promise.

Over the last couple of weeks, we've been playing a 'The Superest' style game after the quiz, and I felt that the (vaguely Christmas themed...) one we came up with last night was good enough to exhibit on here. So...

You should be able to zoom in on those to read them, but (for completeness, and because of our slightly dodgy handwriting...):

Santa "The Pimp" Claus: Ruling the world with his army of ho ho ho's

beaten by

The Christmas Crabs: Taking the safe out of unsafe-sex.

beaten by

The Festive Falcon: (image of dropping the crab on a rock).

beaten by

Old "Poacher" Scrooge: Wings it with his Lee-Enfield, then drains all its Christmas spirit

beaten by

The Ghosts of Gun-Victims Past: Bringing down the NRA one high-school massacre at a time.

beaten by

The Holy Hitman: Striking the dead back to whence they came.

beaten by

The "Altar Boy" Angler: No priest can resist the deep-sea innocence it promises.

beaten by

The Therapist: Always dredging up things from the deep.

beaten by

The Psycho Whore: She's insane, but she's also cheap.

which, with beautiful symmetry, could be beaten by Pimp Santa.
