The arrogance of Piers Morgan

wow

choice quotes:

"As Muhammad Ali said, it’s hard to be humble when you are as great as I am,”

"I think it’s time the talent fall back and go, ‘hang on a second, without us, you don’t have networks'."

"I am looking to at least double it (his salary of £2m). I’ve got no problem if they take it away from somebody else who feels guilty about this type of thing, because I have absolutely no guilt issues about my salary whatsoever. I think I’m worth every penny."

Anyway, that's what's been annoying / amazing me this morning.

Is it genuine arrogance, or is it a caricatured persona that Morgan has concocted and pulls off impeccably to draw the attention of both those who love him and loathe him? I'm not entirely sure myself. Anyone else got any ideas?

I think it's probably a bit of both; he is extremely arrogant and has then found it's easier and sometimes helpful to just act as arrogant as he wants.

Wow, nearly spelt both "boath" there. Something in my head was saying it's boat with an h. You should teach your kids not to do that :-)
