Best Film - The Assassination of Jesse James by the Outlaw Robert Ford
though i probably can't remember all the films I saw this year, this one definately sticks out.

Best Album - Black Holes and Revelations (Muse)
including probably my favourite song of the year "Knights of Cydonia"
(other mentions - An End Has A Start (Editors), also started listening to Led Zeppelin and Led Zeppelin IV is pretty damn awesome)

Best Live Show - Dylan Moran's "Like Totally"
also saw Bill Bailey and Ross Noble, but both dissappointed in comparrison to their earlier work (especially Bill).

Best New TV Series - Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
as if Aaron Sorkin could dissappoint, can't belive this was cancelled.
